Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director of the upcoming theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor and board member for SSC since 2011. She was also the producer, costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC while she served as the Artistic Director of SSC. Although she usually led from within the acting ensemble at the end of her time, she made her first appearance as director (and lighting designer) in SSC's King Lear. Post and his poet wife Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. She was a student at Pomona College for a short period of time, and later she graduated from Lewis & Clark College, both located in Oregon. Post was married prior the wedding to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband of 22 years since 1982. The couple has two daughters. An amazing actress, and an ideal wife and mother Post has been a source of inspiration to many people in Hollywood.
